Six Tsunami swimmers qualified for the H20KIE Winter Championship meet December 11-13, 2020 at the Christianburg Aquatic Center, where Ciara Graves broke a team record. Almost every swimmer dropped time in at least one of their events!
Thirty-eight Tsunami swimmers headed to the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center for the STAT Winter Championships December 6-8, 2020. Seventeen of our swimmers placed in the Top 5 at the meet - way to go! We also had two first place finishes - Trevor Tiberio, who also placed in the top 5 on all of his swims this weekend, and Reid Schattgen, who got first and broke a team record at the same time!
The Tsunami swimmers had a great Winchester Swim Team October COVID Quad meet October 24-25 at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center. They had 20 first place finishes and Tyler Tiberio broke a team record. Go Tsunami!
Several Tsunami swimmers participated in the only long course meet of the 2020 season and we had 4 broken team records! It was an unusual Summer, and we were happy to have the opportunity to attend the Winchester Long Course Invitational with two other teams. Congratulations to the following swimmers for their hard work:
Kate Heston, Maddie Pulliam, Annie Furrow, Samantha Holland, and Piper Bourn are all smiles.
