Meet Results

Tsunami swimmers are proud to represent their team throughout the Commonwealth and around the country in competition with Virginia Swimming and USA Swimming.

The Tsunami swimmers had a phenomenal meet at the 12 & Under North District Champtionships on Feburary 14-16 at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sports Center. Thirty-one swimmers participated and 16 had at least one top-eight finish.

Three Tsunami swimmers participated in the 9th Hoki Swim and Tri Winter Champs December 12-15 at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center. Andrew Appleton, Matthew Appleton, and Ciara Graves swam in 25 total events.

We had five swimmers participate in the 2019 Senior Circuit, held October 26-27 at PGS&L. Matthew Appleton, Ciara Graves, Anna Labrusciano, Allison Masterson, and Caroline Masterson swam an impressive 34 races in the meet, totaling 9800 yards swam.

Tsunami Swimming had a great showing at the RAYS Great Pumpkin Splash Invitational, held October 19-20 at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center. Twenty-six swimmers participated, 23 of whom dropped time in at least one of their races.

The Tsunami swimmers had a standout first meet of the season! Twenty swimmers had at least one top-eight finish at the 12 & Under Bengal Races held October 12th at the Ruffin Memorial Natatorium. Together they dropped 191.91 seconds from their times - that's over 3 minutes!

The Tsunami swimmers had a strong showing at the 2019 Poseidon's Long Course Luau held June 15-17 at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center. Four swimmers had at least one top eight finish and six new team records were set.
