Meet Results
Tsunami swimmers are proud to represent their team throughout the Commonwealth and around the country in competition with Virginia Swimming and USA Swimming.
Tsunami sent 29 swimmers to the 13 & Over Championships at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sports Center February 22-24, 2019. Seven of those swimmers finished at least one race in the top eight.

Samantha Holland and Coach Andrew at the meet Thirty-seven Tsunami swimmers participated in the 2019 North District 12 & Under Championship. It was held February 15-17 at the Prince William County School Aquatic Center.
The 12 & Under Bengal Races #1 were held at the Ruffin Memorial Natatorium at Woodberry Forest on September 29th. We had 18 swimmers start at least one race and a total of 40 top eight finishes!
Brandon Fulayter, London Jones, Kyleigh Tiberio, Trevor Tiberio, and Tiffany Yawgel all finished in the top eight in each of their four races. London also set a team record in the 50 Free. Go Tsunami!
Reid Schattgen and Anna Slominski represented Tsunami at both the 2018 VA Long Course Senior Championships July 19-22, and Eastern Zones August 8-11. Coach Pete joined them as the coach for the 15-18 boys team, whose relays went undefeated the whole week.
Anna placed in the top eight in all of her races at Zones and set team records in each of her finals there. Reid had three total AAA times and two top eight finishes. Congratulations Reid and Anna!

Four swimmers represented Tsunami at the VSI Long Course Age Group Championships July 26th-29th. Ciara Graves set five new team records, with Ryan Mcosker setting two and having two top eight finishes. Congratulations on a great long course season to all four swimmers!
The 2018 VSI Regional Summer Award meet was a resounding success for Tsunami Swimming. Our swimmers set 20 new team records, had seven first place finishes, and had 11 different people get a finish of eighth or better.
