Tsunami swimmers are proud to represent their team throughout the Commonwealth and around the country in competition with Virginia Swimming and USA Swimming.

Tsunami Swimming sent eight swimmers to the Superhero Splashdown Meet on June 3-5, 2016, at the Collegiate School Aquatics Center.

The swimmers set nine new team records and won two different events. Charlotte Denecke set six of those new team records, placing in the top eight in five events! In addition, two other swimmers placed in the top eight in at least one race. All top-eight finishes and new team records are listed below. Congratulations to all of the swimmers on a great meet!

Tsunami Swimming participated in the Snow Long Course Classic swim meet at the Claude Moore Aquatic Facility in Sterling, Virginia.

Eight new team records were set by five different swimmers! Ryan McOsker set an impressive three new records, Charlotte Decenck set two, and Brianne Dawson, Patrick McOsker, and Anna Slominski each set one. Below are all of the swimmers who placed in the top eight for their event as well as all the new team records.

Tsunami swimmers spent the February 19th weekend participating in the 2016 North District 12 & Younger swim meet, which was held at the Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility in Warrenton, Virginia.

Combined, our athletes set six new team records, with four individual and two relay records. Tsunami swimmers also established several new Age Group Qualifying times.

Charlotte Denecke set four new individual team records and swam on two record-breaking relays. She also made six new Age Group qualifying times.

Tsunami Swimming participated in the BASS Winter Warm Up held at the Woodberry Forest Pool in Orange Virginia on February 7, 2016. While the meet was cut short due to uncontrollable circumstances, our swimmers still dropped time in the pool.

One dozen Tsunami swimmers placed in the top eight in their events. Congratulations to Charlottle Denecke on setting a new team record and a new "AA" time! Our top-eight finishers are listed below.

Tsunami competed in the Eastern Zone IMX meet held January 29-31, 2016 at the University of Maryland in College Park. With 81 teams and over 1200 swimmers coming from Virginia to Maine, the IMX meet is one of the largest age group meets in the country.

Tsunami sent six swimmers to Zones and they achieved new team records, new standards, and new qualifying times! Anna Slominski added to her already-impressive team record haul with new records in both the 200 Yard IM and the 200 Yard Breaststroke, which was also a new AA time. Ryan McOsker earned a new A time in the 200 Yard Freestyle, along with an Age Group Qualifying time. Charlotte Denecke swam to two new AAs and two new A times, and Ciara Graves swam three AAAs and two A times, including a new A in the 200 Yard IM. Our lone distance swimmer, Abby Cook earned a new A time in the 500 free.

Tsunami Swimming participated in the NOVA New Year’s Kick Off Swim Meet in Richmond at the Nova Aquatic Facility from January 8-10, 2016.

Ciara Graves set two new team records, and the Girls 9-10 200Y Medley Relay placed 4th with a new team record as well. The top eight place and new team records are listed below.
