The following is the information on the Sunflower Classic Meet this coming weekend (Friday - Sunday, April 28 – 30, 2023) hosted by Rays. Meet documents may be located HERE Aside from positive check in events, the meet will be seeded on Thursday afternoon. At that time, heat sheets will be available at the link above.
WarmUps
Friday:
Session 1 - (Distance) -> On Deck 3:15 – WarmUp 3:30 – 4:20 -- Open
Saturday:
Session 2 - (12 & younger) -> On Deck 07:10 – WarmUp 07:25 – 07:50 – Competition Pool Lane 8
Session 3 - (13 & older) -> On Deck 11:30 – WarmUp 11:45 – 12:10 --- Competition Pool Lane 4
Sunday:
Session 4 - (12 & younger) -> On Deck 07:10 – WarmUp 07:25 – 07:50 – Competition Pool Lane 8
Session 5 - (13 & older) -> On Deck 11:30 – WarmUp 11:45 – 12:10 --- Competition Pool Lane 4
Volunteer Positions
Timers:
TSU has been assigned slots for the 13 & Older sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Timers' Sign Up
Swimmers are required to provide timers and counters for the 800 and 1500 freestyle events.
Originial Meet Information
Format:
- Friday evening session offers events for swimmers 11 & Older
- All 12 & Under swimmers will swim in the First session Saturday and Sunday.
- All 13 & Older swimmers will swim in the Second session Saturday and Sunday.
- All events will be timed finals.
- Meet course will be in LCM.
Swimmers must provide timers and lap counters for the 800 and 1500 free style events.
WarmUps:
Friday
11 and over Distance -> WarmUp 3:30, competition starts at 4:30
Saturday
12 and -> WarmUp 07:00, competition starts at 8:10
13 and older -> WarmUps not before 11:00, competition not before 12:00pm
Sunday
12 and -> WarmUp 07:00, competition starts at 8:10
13 and older -> WarmUps not before 11:00, competition not before 12:00pm

Timers:
Swimmers in events 7-8, the 800 freestyle, 53-54, the 1000 freestyle, must provide their own counter and timers. All timers and counters must wear a mask
